My July was full this year but also filled with the things that bring me joy, like flowers and Canola fields , good food and doing things with those I love. Is summer going too fast for you?

The best investment isn’t always the house. It’s the people who make it feel like home. Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads who fill their homes with love, laughter and lifelong memories. To the ones that continue to show up, no matter which stage of life your kids are at and includes sports, life’s milestones and home inspections! HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!

Real estate took me to Niverville yesterday and on my way home I stopped in at @lilystonegardens near Rosenort. It wasn’t planned and was a conscious detour (with a few extra miles of gravel roads because I got lost 😅) It was my first time there, but worth the wait… Their sweet little shop is filled with art, vintage finds and of course flowers! We were invited to do a U-pick that opens to the public this Friday along with a handmade/vintage market Lily Stone Gardens is hosting. 💐 Sometimes the best days are the ones that aren’t entirely planned out. The ones that you literally stop to smell the flowers or take the time to do something new. I think that is what summer is really all about!

Anyone that knows me, knows I love cozy spaces, handmade ANYTHING and a good gallery wall! Your home should be a collection of things you love and tell the stories of the life you are living. Pay less attention to trends and what everyone else is doing…this make your home timeless. This past weekend, I gave my office she shed/studio a little love. Oh Monday…today you’re messing with me! I headed out early to grab some groceries this morning but my car was like nope! Fortunately, we have another vehicle to use and an always kind neighbour that helped me out. On the days that feel like maybe they aren’t quite going my way, I am reminded of this beautiful community we live in and how kind the people are that live here. We know most of the names of those that work at our local mechanic shop. We have family doctors and a dental office that remembers personal things about their patients. We truly have all the amenities of a much larger centre. We have everything we could possibly need living in our small town and that’s just the way we like it! So I hope your Monday has started off better than mine but you still take the time every once in a while to appreciate the small things. I will be enjoying my coffee a little more in my beautiful new mug from @evergreen.ceramics_ that I received for Mother’s Day! 😍 #movetomorden #yourmordenrealtor #smalltownliving❤️
